Fiance Visa, Kids and I'm Military

Hi I am Active duty Army, I want to bring my girl friend from Mexico to USA and marrry her I love her very much. I have all documentss translated and I have all the fiance paperork filled out, however her youngest daughter's father is not at all involved in her life and I want to know what we will need in order to bring her over here with no problems. She has a divorce decree and all that states she has custody of oldest daughter. The ex husband is OK with her coming here and is a decent guy. I just dont know exactly what we will need to do for the littlest one. Thanks for your input in advance. Also I have heard that because I am active duty military our application may be expedited, is this true, I HOPE SO. Thanks again !

What type of visa will you be applying for? This will help the members to help you more by knowing this.

Applied 5/2007 Approved GC in Hand 10/2007
I-751 mailed 6/30/09 aapproved 11/7/09 The BOYS I-751 Mailed 12/29/09 3/23/10 Email approval for 17 CR 3/27/10
4/14/10 Email approval for 13 yr Old CR 4/23/10

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well
11/11/10 GC Received smile.png

Hey...

Yes, there is sometimes an expedite for active duty military people.

When you have deployment orders or know you will get them soon.

You can also go to a higher ranked person in the military like your commander and ask if he will write a memorandum...

Maybe he will do that for you and that letter is what you need to send to USCIS, you can scan and email.

Call USCIS and ask about military expedite. There is a military helpline so call that line. They will help you answering your questions. And tell you what you need and where to email

04-23-2009 ~ NOA1 from California Service Center

04-28-2009 ~ $ 355,- check cashed

07-09-2009 ~ I-130 APPROVED 77 days after NOA1

07-23-2009 ~ NVC received our case and got NVC case #

07-30-2009 ~ payed I-864 bill

07-30-2009 ~ payed IV bill

08-12-2009 ~ Case completed and left NVC

08-14-2009 ~ Consulate received case

08-15-2009 ~ Received package

09-29-2009 ~ Interview > Denied because not having vaccination shots

10-27-2010 ~ Went to Amsterdam Consulate to bring I-601 and paid

10-28-2009 ~ Send out a form to Amsterdam Consulate which they added to my I-601 and they forward it to USCIS Frankfurt

02-18-2010 ~ Received RFE for I-601 stamp is 02-15-2010

04-05-2010 ~ RFE send out for I-601 to USCIS Frankfurt

04-08-2010 ~ RFE received at USCIS Frankfurt

04-29-2010 ~ I-601 APPROVED!!!

05-20-2010 ~ RECEIVED VISA

05-27-2010 ~ in the USA!!! LAX California

06-14-2010 ~ Got my SSN#

06-18-2010 ~ Got my GREENCARD
