How long after the interview does the green card come and how long before we can travel outside the country? Our interview is on Aug. 13.

Also what kind of stuff are they going to ask at the interview? I hate being put on the spot!

Please help! Its appreciated thanks!

If your interview is successful you will receive an immigrant visa along with a package. You can leave for the US ASAP. The green card itself you will get in 3 - 8 weeks after your entry to USA.

If approved you can ask for the I-551 stamp in your passport. Once you either get the stamp of the GC you are good to go out of the country and return. make sure you are not gone out of the uS for more than a year unless you applly for a re entry permit. Good luck on the 13.

The docs need to be proof of the bonafides of your relationship. Bring originals of all documents you sent copies of in case the IO wants to see the original. At our interview they ask for my BC ( USC ) looked a few pics and wanted a copy of husbands fist divorce :)

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Usually the PR/Green Card takes a couple of weeks (sometimes more, sometimes less) once approved after the interview. No guarantees of course. Once received, you are free to travel and re-enter the US as a Permanent Resident.
