Good morning everyone :)

Happy Friday!

Any plans for the weekend? Weather here is getting nice and chilly...makes me want to take that k3 reunion ski trip early so I can enjoy a nice fireside chat (hint, hint).

Good morning everyone :)

Happy Friday!

SKI TRIP????

Well we were discussing possibly going to Colorado for our K3 reunion to a ski resort for a long weekend (sometime around March 2010)... Even though some of us don't ski :lol: I know I was a safety hazard the last time I tried...I couldn't stop and knocked down my instructor who stood before me yelling "pie stance!" which was the thing you're supposed to do with the ski to open them so that you can stop... :lol: I would still love to sit by the fire, look at snow, and drink some hot cocoa while chatting with my friends though :wub:

By the way, how are you? I miss you! Are things settling down lately? I hope!

Wife got her GC in the mail yesterday ! I guess that is it for us ... at least for the next 2 years ... Will be checking the forum whenever I can and see most of you in the ROC section in 2011 !

07/01/09 - I-485 and I-765 mailed

07/06/09 - USCIS received (date on NOA1)

07/13/09 - NOA1 received for both I-485 and I-765 !

08/08/09 - Biometric appointment

08/25/09 - AOS interview letter notice date

09/24/09 - AOS interview

10/03/09 - Received GC !!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
