Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Killed time waiting the USCIS to play their long waiting games, by sending photos of each room to my wife to be for her suggestions on what to do for each room. Getting her feedback, and redecorating each room to her taste, then with follow up photos. This would be OUR home, not just mine anymore.

Always liked a clean well organized home, the penalty if my kids wouldn't put my tools back to their assigned spaces was death. Well at least a chewing out, when I have a job to do, don't want to spend a half a day looking for my tools.

Military went way overboard on organization, all of your uniforms had to be hung in a precise location, very button had to be buttoned, latrines had to be spotless, all shoes had to be shined with the shoe strings neatly tied, towels, socks, and underwear had to be rolled so it would bounce off the wall, etc., etc., etc. That was too much, but cleaning up a mess right after it's made, rinsing out a dish, and either hanging up your clothes or tossing them in the wash basket is a far more efficient way to live. So you are not spending a half a day looking for something. Only thing on my desk is what I am working on, rest is neatly filed away, that also saves a lot of time.

I never reorganized all that evidence wife had to take for her USC interview, but stacked safely away, will get to that one of these days.
