Yeah, the poor kid must be completely confused. Raped then abandoned by her family. I hope she gets a great carer to help her through this. Her life is never going to be simple.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

It certainly isn't.

With these sorts of "outrage" crimes, people rarely consider the well-being of the victim, only their own barbaric sentiments of revenge. Its as though by abusing the perpetrator, the crime itself can be erased.

Unfortunately, it can't.

IMO that is the most disturbing part of stories like this. granted the rape is disgusting. but, i don't understand why some cultures alienate and/or blame the victims of sexual assaults.

In the case of south asian cultures that do that, there's an assumption that a woman who gets raped 'asked for it' in some way, through suggestive gestures or clothing or something.

Tell you what, all of you who are getting on my case about the Castrating comment I will let you have the high road and I will set up camp down with the bottom feeders. ;)

I think considering the media attention this case will get and the extreme cruelness that took place that this girl will get a good home and hopefully the much needed counseling.

Poor girl (F)

Is expressing sympathy a bottom feeder activity?
