This is not going to be an epic tale, I am exhausted!

TOguy's POE was smooth on the 15th, we arrived around 115 and were done by 145-2 ish. The people were friendly, knowledgeable and even cracked jokes with TG! They didn't ask what he had with him or anything. But they did question my address change back in January. having proof would have been marginally helpful, but wasn't necessary. We entered at Peace Bridge. Someday one of us may do a review :lol:

Driving on....

We arrived back in Asheville, NC the following day. The total miles driven have now approached 2400 miles. Tired - yes! TG unloaded and started unpacking - its great to see all his stuff - even though he was here for 6 weeks, it didn't feel like he lived here - now it does. (sigh of relief!)

Today was our courthouse wedding! We are now officially Mr. & Mrs.! I had to pick TG's friend up last night at 11 PM, and then my brother at 830 AM. then we rushed to the courthouse at 1230 and had to go back at 330, and then we were married. I'd relax, but now I'm looking at the AOS requirements, forms, etc and groaning... when will this end? When does "life" begin?

Regardless, I'm so happy that we are married now. What an amazing journey! :D

Wow! SO much done in so little time! Congrats on the smooth POE and marriage!

The AOS will come easy - you are together! You can work on it together, and it's honestly not that bad. Just read the guides carefully and take your time :)

Congratulations both on the successful POE and on your wedding! Once the flurry of activity around the AOS is done you get a chance to relax for about 2 years before you need to start up again. So, yes, it does eventually 'pause' and gives you enough time to enjoy just being married and living with the one you love.

Congratulations! You guys got moved quickly that’s great. I’m sure the next phase will be much easier on all of us since we don’t have to worry about when and if we can visit next.
