864w is an exemption form. I was just advised that even though I filled out the I864 for my kids I was supposed to fill out the I864w. simpler form, don't need anything but the 864w. The reason is that you don't need to prove that you can support her (AOS).

That is very weird. I can understand eklondon becasue you are a citizen ( even though you have resided outside forever ) However for Sopia I wonder why. Can you call back and get clarification on that form?

From my understanding it's when only parent is a USC

You still have to follow all the USCIS and NVC Guidelines and pay the same amounts but upon entry to the US the kids are granted citizenship and do not require a green card.
