After hearing from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo on 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS that WE WERE NOT UNDER AP, we received the following e-mail from them yesterday:

Dear Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail message. Please note that your fiancé’s administrative processing has been completed. Since he had left his passport at our office, you don’t need to worry about it. We will issue his visa and send him the passport along with the immigration packet via DHL courier service as soon as possible.

Regards,

Consular Staff

Thank GOD that's over! Can someone please tell us how long it takes to receive the visa once the administrative process is completed at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, Egypt? We REALLY do appreciate ALL THE HELP we can get! Thanks, guys! God bless you all!!!! :innocent::star::innocent::star::innocent:

Thanks!! Our interview on May 19th. We just received the e-mail yesterday, so I guess all in all it took a little over a month & a half which if you think about it is not bad at all, but when you're stuck in the dark it feels like this whole visa process will never end! Our loved one's will EVENTUALLY have there visas in hand... we just have to wait. :( Too bad we don't know for how long. Good luck to all of you waiting like us. God bless!

I dont' know how long it takes, but I can't imagine more then a week or two. Just guessing though. Anyhow, congrats on AP being over (even though they said you weren't on it to begin with :P ). Have a wonderful reunion!

Thank you sooooooo much! I hope to God you're right about the 1-2 week wait. :star: As far as them telling us we weren't on AP OVER & OVER (LoL :P) & then it resulted in us REALLY being on AP.... well, it's okay. Honestly, we're just glad it's almost over! As for us being reunited... :luv: Thank God we've been together here in Egypt since our interview. I'm truly blessed! :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:
