I just got my letters today from USCIS saying my application was approved! Hope my card follows shortly :)

Hope everyone has a good week!! (and that we hear more!)

I guess, it's needless to say that I got mine too... yesterday :yes:

Why am I not surprised :P

Should we take bets if we'll get our cards on the same day? :rofl:

hi guys..it's been a week since i last posted hir in our forum..i just came back from a vacation in frisco..

so my hubby called me yesterday regarding the letter for me from the USCIS..its my INTERVIEW LETTER :dance: its gonna be on Oct.27 at 10:30 AM..good thing its tuesday cuz my hubby is off that day..

so when i got home an hour ago im so excited to open up my email..hoping that CRIS already sent me an email regarding my EAD CARD..

and guess what guys i received an email twice..1st-Sept.23..2nd-Sept.28---

EAD--CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED.. :dance::dance:

this is an advanced birthday gift for me..Praise the Lord..

--to all who was approved on their interviews CONGRATS..especially to STARBUST..now i need to prepare all my documents for my interview..

and guys i have a question..so i got my Interview Letter, is that doesnt mean i can still receive a RFE..? :unsure:

We had our interview yesterday and were approved! It was a piece of cake. I posted on the other thread (I guess that one isn't really being used anymore?) Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Uma - I'm not sure, but I think having the appointment scheduled means they have all the evidence they want (except what you need to bring tothe interview, of course). We got our RFE before the EAD card, but after being given the biometrics appointment, and the RFE letter stated we would get the EAD as soon as we sent the evidence.

10/10/06 - We meet in an online forum.

4/23/07 - We are officially a couple. <3

7/17/07 - First meeting in person - Rochester NY (several visits back and forth follow).

12/15/08 - Our daughter, Annika, is born.

4/1/09 - Christian comes to visit on the VWP (5th visit to US, POE is Newark, no hassles).

5/26/09 - We get married! Small wedding, planned in a month, but very nice. :)

Adjustment of Status

7/3/09 -- Mailed I-485,I-130,I-765,I-131, Medical - certified mail

7/6/09 -- Delivery confirmation on USPS website

7/14/09 -- Receipts arrive.

7/16/09 -- Can pull up case with receipt numbers on USCIS website.

7/25/09 -- RFE. Our joint sponsor did not provide proof of citizenship or enough proof of his income.

8/17/09 -- Received AP document.

8/19/09 -- Biometrics appointment.

8/28/09 -- Received EAD card.

9/29/09 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!

10/3/09 -- Welcome letter.

10/9/09 -- Green card in hand!

I knew everything was going to be fine for you - they were just taking their sweet time with it!!

I don't think you'll get an RFE at this point. I think they only schd interviews once they have everything they need (but I could be wrong)

Just take your time and gather everything. Really, the interview is a lot easier then you would think it is. Just tell the truth and you'll be fine :)

Yeah! It's just been over 3 years(july 16th) I really planned to do it earlier but lack of funds : /

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

I am confused. I already received 2 of the Card production ordered e-mails and I thought my card is on its way. And I already got the actual Approuval notice. That's strange :unsure:
