i am out of AP in 21 days.my interview was on june11th.visa officer said we need to do further investigation of your case,for most people it took 1-3 months but can take longer.i got call from embassy yesterday to send my passport to embassy as my visa is ready. :dance:

Receipt (I-797C) recieved 08/30/2008

Application Approved 02/03/2009

NVC Case # assigned 02/09/2009

NVC Case Completed 05/08/2009

Interview Scheduled at ISL 07/07/2009

Interview completed successfully, waiting for passport to be returned

PASSPORT RECEIVED W/VISA 07/10/2009

iam out ap too but after almost three month they called me on 12 jun i sent my passport via amex. and i regular check on amex web site but they say passport sent to islamabad for intial processing. whitebeauty tell me they send ur passport back or u face same answer like me intial processing blah blah ............................

Congratulations! This is common that females usually get extremely short AP's are common. In this forum most of the sufferrers turn out to be males with very common names and takes a very long time to complete.
