Embassy Review : My wife had her interview for CR-1 this morning. She arrived at the consulate around 6:30 AM and reached embassy around 7:45 AM (it took this long because of the huge queue she had to wait in for shuttle service). They asked for her interview letter at the security check and was seated in waiting area. Few minutes later, she they took her finger prints and told her to wait again. 20 minutes later she was called on a window to submit her passport. Again, after next 20 minutes she was called to submit police certificate and finally after about half hour she was called by a CO for her interview. They asked her the following questions

-How long you have been married?
-Husband's name?
-Date of marriage?
-How did you guys meet?
-Do you have kids?
-Where does your husband work in USA?
-What's his job title?
-Where do you live in Pakistan?
-What's your husband's favourite food?

After all the questions answered, the CO told her that everything looks fine in your case, congratulations you are eligible for the visa. They kept her passport and gave her a white paper on which Amex courier address was listed alongwith a token. They told her that they will send her passport with the visa on it within next 2 weeks. Overall, it was a good experience and the CO was very friendly and polite.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
