Freetown Embassy, K-1 Visa Approved !!

Helloooo VJ Sub-Saharan. I personally need to stop by here and give a BIG THANK YOU to everyone here. Eventhough i didn't post alot i'm a frequent reader of posts, replies and experiences posted here. Thanks to everyone of you for your support and your faithfulness in answering people's questions and giving suggestions and advise. All that has diffinately helped me doing my journey. :yes:(L):yes:

Wow, i'm so releaved. My fiance's visa was approved at Freetown embassy. He said everything went so smooth it didn't even feel like an interview him and the consular officer were just having a normal conversation. while my fiance was waiting to be called to the window he said people around him started making him nervous cuz they were saying that the officer that was there today was the mean one, and how the nice guy had traveled to the U.S. for vacation.

Well his experience turned out to be different. The consular officer didn't even ask alot of specific questions. All he asked my fiance was how did we meet ? What did we do when i visited Freetown ? where was this or that picture taken at? How many kids we wanted to have ? They both laughed about that and my fiance mentioned that we have a debate right now cuz i want my first to be a girl and he wants a boy. So the officer was laughing with him most of the time during the interview. Then he asked to see the rest of our pictures, and only looked at 4 out of like 20 pictures. One of the pictures i took was with my fiance's sister and the officer recognized that. The officer didn't even take the rest of our phone calls and emails my fiance took to the interview. He took my affidavit of support and the rest of my financial info. At the end of the interview the officer even appologized to my fiance for not being able to issue the visa that same day because the machine that prints the visa is broke so he has to go back and pick up his visa.

I just want to thank everyone again that contributes to this awesome site. It has been a blessing. You all have been very supportive in ways you don't even know. Thank you so much. I"m looking forward to POE second week of July. :dance::luv::dance::luv::dance:

CONGRATULATIONS!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. Here is another update. My fiance arrived Aug. 27 POE Washington dulles Airport. It was an awesome moment, i ran up to him so fast i almost knocked his down :blush: The process at the airport went really smooth they only asked him when is our wedding date and the officer joked and asked if he was invited. That same evening we went out with my family and his brother to old country buffet. I didn't waste no time introducing him to American food, he didn't eat much though. Everything else is going on really good, we've applied for his SSN and our wedding date is set for Oct. 4th. So time is moving pretty fast now. :luv:

Thank you everything for your support during this process i'll post some pictures after the wedding.
