Okay, someone mentioned to me that since we had an interview for AOS that the chances of having an interview for ROC is less. Is that really true, or just a false sense of hope I'm clinging to?? Does anyone know?

False sense of hope....but I would like to think I won't get an interview.

Thanks, good to know. But hey, it's nice to have goals, right? So, I'm thinking a goal for us would be to NOT have an interview... ;)

When I looked at the ROC threads, I saw about one or two people even get an ROC interview. I think they're even more random than the AOS interviews. You don't need to provide financial support information at all for ROC, it's so lame the info you have to provide, unless the evidence you send in isn't suffice, OR you're one of the names they pull from a hat, I doubt you'll get, or 99% of people won't get an ROC interview.

Check Cashed on October 18th, I only like a few minutes from the CSC office but nothing in the mail or receipts yet.

Is the check cashing the NOA or do we get a letter?

countdown to send in my documents for ROC on Nov 22 ( or a few days later )

I got a question , probly wont make a differance but I want to make sure ,

I got a new passport this year ,

so what am doing is copy the biological page of the old

as well as the biological and page 2 where it shows my address on the new passport ( new passport doesnt have any stamps in it will that be ok , or do i have to copy every page of the new passport ?

You don't need to send copies of your passport for the ROC. I could be wrong, but I didn't and I just looked over the forms really quickly and didn't see any mention of passport copies.

You'll get a receipt in the mail, which is the NOA1.

I sent in scans of both passports with recent stamps. I got a stamp for my wife entering Canada. The border agent didn't understand why we wanted it.. I said as a souvenir but it serves as more entry proof of trips etc.

Just more pages to prove things ... that's my 2c

Just checked my status for kicks...

Still sitting in initial review according to the unreliable website. 3.5 months now...haha

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
