Marilyn: It may be a little awkward for you but remember it's going to be awkward for her too. She's sure to feel bad for you. Maybe it is one of those times where you will have to be gracious as tough as it may be. It is only understandable that it will take you longer than this to get over Noah and that it's completely normal for you to have these feelings. Just think of the day that comes when you can share your good news of a new baby on the way! It'll come to you in time......try to focus on that.

Eveline: I'm so excited for you. I can remember how I felt the evening I went in to be induced, I was so nervous I thought I would be sick. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride.......It's not really that bad at all!! Best of luck to you!

Savanphil: Isn't it the best feeling in the world? It gets better later on when you will start to count the days til your next appointment so you can hear the heartbeat every time!

Marilyn - nice to hear from you again. I agree with Stina though, I think it'll be far easier to call her and congratulate them because you'll be seeing them in a couple of weeks. I know you say its hard to be happy for them, and this is understandable, but I'm sure you could kinda sound happy if you tried? At least then the first step will be over with.

An update: I am going home on Monday March 5th. I remember when I first moved out from my parents home and how sad and unconsolable I was. I couldn't wait to start my life with hubby but I missed my family terribly. Now...I call Virginia home and I can't wait to get back.

Thanks Savanphil. I am a little worried about travelling with the baby...I don't wanna get kicked off, if the baby should cry, due to complaints from other passengers : ) (Remember that family that got kicked off because of their 2 year old?)

anyone know of a message board or two for parents that is set up like this one kind of? I know there are a lot out there like the ivillage ones but I don't like the set up. Any suggestions? I need support on getting a tubal ligation reversal and figure why not join a board that will take me from there to when the baby is born. :)

I came on to check on Eveline too!! No news is good news!!! Hopefully she'll inform us all soon!

Nizzy - I know - I can hardly believe i'm 26 (27 tomorrow) weeks either!! I think u and eveline were in your 22 weeks or something when I first appeared here, slightly dazed and confused!!! Don't worry too much about the flight - its only 2 hours!! The other people will just have to deal with it!!! You have every right to want to be with your husband!!

We just bought the crib today and a lovely crib set!! I feel all excited!! Also had that rotten glucose test today so hopefully everything will be fine!! I start birthing class on Tuesday to!!! Then i'm at the docs monday....then every two weeks!!! weird!!! I've gained 25lbs so far to.....

Anyway hope everyone is feeling good!!

I HATED that glucose test. That yucky drink made me wanna vomit. Don't worry too much about the results.

When I was pregnant I would be counting down the days and weeks. Now when I look back all I can think of is how fast it all went by.

I had gained 39 pounds in total by the end of my pregnancy...then when I went to my first check up after giving birth I had lost 20 pounds. A lot of the weight you gain is the baby and all the stuff that is in there with him.

The best advice I can give is to not go in with all these plans that are set in stone. Expect ANYTHING to happen and be flexible with your decisions...especially when it comes to meds! lol In my last hour, I was begging for the epidural...oh and ask for a birthing ball if you have back pain. It really helped me!

Still can't wait to hear from Eveline!
