Simple qustion on G-325A and field length

Katya recently sent me her 'final' version of the G-325A form. Adobe basically let her type in as much information as she wanted, and some fields show up truncated once the form is printed out. She hasn't signed these, she simply wanted me to double check everything before she did sign/mail it.

Her mother's City and Country of birth is very long. I do not know what information to delete, what's important or not. The information she put was "Ukraine, Ordzhonikidze, Dnepropetrovsky krai".

The "Full Name" and address of her employers. She wrote both English and Russian. should I have her truncate the entries down to just the Russian or just the English version of the employer?

Perhaps i add an additional blank sheet labeled G-25A info that details these extra long entries?

Thanks for any help you all can offer. We are *this* close to being able to start the K-1 process and I'm getting a bit antsy. I want to hurry up and submit this paperwork, so I can sit around and wait for months on end like everyone else.

many people revert to a supplemetal sheet

Thanks. I've started preparing some notes for Katya on this process. I figured this was the route to go; but I also wanted peace of mind from the folks here. Thank you. :D

I have Adobe Pro and just reduced the font size.

You can also hand print in those fields.

I typed the info in word in a small font. Used scotch tape, copied them before signing. Maybe overkill but my small printing is not very good, or hers.

Ordzhonikidze, USSR

The "Full Name" and address of her employers. She wrote both English and Russian. should I have her truncate the entries down to just the Russian or just the English version of the employer?

Make up a short English name of her employer. Ex: - if her employer is called "Dneper Marketing Consultants Group Limited, Ukraine" then write - "DMCG, UA"

The address should resemble something like "1/2 Prydniprovska St. Suite 29, Kiev, UA, 938321" as opposed to "Ukraine, 938321 Kiev, Prydniprovska Ul., etc.,"

Keep in mind these forms are going to Americans in either Vermont or Nebraska or something like that. Monesha doesn't need all that fancy stuff on the G-325A to process. She needs a name and an address to type in with those long-#### press-on nails.

Also keep in mind your sweety will need to get a police report from each place she lived since 16. If she's lived or worked in like 43 different places, save yourself the time and energy and pick three all in the same oblast, list those and only those, and then get one police report.

Perhaps i add an additional blank sheet labeled G-25A info that details these extra long entries?

You could, or you could just KISS and keep it short, simple, and to the point. They have a hoop they want you to jump through. Jump through that hoop and only that hoop.

Thank you all. Now someone tell me how I JUST noticed that I misspelled question in my post title. I'm normally OCD about typos; going so far as to have Firefox underline any word it doesn't recognize. Oh well.

I have reported you to the grammar police. Expect to be roused out of your bed at 2am for questioning.

Shouldn't it be the Spelling Police?

Budget cuts due to the recession. The Spelling Police have been eliminated, and their case load has been transferred to the Grammar Police. It's a sad, sad time to be in Linguistics Enforcement.

What's nice about having a foreign fiancee is you don't have to spell stuff correctly anymore because you can claim, "well, that's how it's transliterated and I can't help how they do it."

You can notice this in software today! Just look at Word - when you do a Spell Check it is combined with a Grammer check!
