I just checked our case and we got touched July 4th. This is our third touch already, first NOA1 is April 04, first touched- May 1, 2nd touched - july-3, third is July 4th. I hope this means something something to all of us who are on the same boat. I am just trying to be optimistic. ;)

i got a touch yesterday and today.

I just checked our case and we got touched July 4th. This is our third touch already, first NOA1 is April 04, first touched- May 1, 2nd touched - july-3, third is July 4th. I hope this means something something to all of us who are on the same boat. I am just trying to be optimistic. ;)

i got touched yesteday saying they are sending the rfe out. i got it already and sent it back they received 29june (signed for it) then i received a touch today as well. Lets try to figure out what they are doing. I looked at everyones who has been touched today and cant find a pattern. different noa1 dates,,some people havent sent there rfe or received it yet. so maybe by last name? just trying to get a pettern. my last name begins with P. anyone else want to add to this?

Yeah we were touched today too!! I though it was strange since I got the IMBRA RFE just yesterday....... I thought they wouldn't even touch our case until we sent the RFE back to them.

Oh well! At least I know there's someone pretending to be working there...... lol

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

jpine my surname starts with Y. did you get the email that says they have recieved your RFE yet? i hope you got it. we received the RFE the same day and sent it out the same day as well.. hours apart. :) we both got touched today and yesterday... i wonder if this can be good news for all of us. I HOPE SOOOOOOO!

I received my RFE yesterday and got touched today.

Is it possible that they continue to process other parts of a case, while waiting for the RFE to be returned?

In another thread, someone suggested that USCIS has automatic computerized "touches" . I don't want to even think that this might be true. :no:

so apparently with this super quick survey there is nothing in common with us, except we have been touched and the bottom line that is a good thing. off to my fireworks now, in about 5 minutes waiting for 9pm eastern b/c i belive ca stops working 6pm western time, so have a good night guys.

well i was touched on the 3rd.And i sean gomez touched on the 4th

June 12 06 Submitted I-129F to Vermont

June 24 06 Recieved NOA1

June 30 06 Touched RFE sent

July 03 06 Touched July 18 06 Touched July 29 06 Touched Aug 14 06 recieved IMBRA

Aug 14 06 mailed IMBRA back Aug 17 06 recieved e mail they recieved IMBRA on the 17th touched on the 24th and 29th Sept 18.06 recieved e mail of NOA 2 Recieved NOA 2 in mail on Sept 22,06 Recieved my case #. Petition is in manilla now
