Sometimes it takes time. I'm lucky we're closed to Chicago. Do you have a tracking number for your shipment?

08/02/2016 - sent I-130 application for my parents via USPS Priority Mail

08/05/2016 - Priority Date

08/08/2016 - NOA1s Notice date

08/09/2016 - NOA1s text message and email received

08/10/2016 - money orders: cashed

08/13/2016 - received NOA1s in the mail

08/24/2016 - touched

12/27/2016 - Cases Approved! (148 days or 4 months and 26 days total)

01/12/2017 - NVC Welcome Letters Received (Case Number + Invoice Number)

01/13/2017 - Completed DS-261

01/25/2017 - Received IV Fee

02/23/2017 - sent NVC packets via USPS Priority Mail (note: I have to wait for my mom's police certificate, so there was a bit of a delay before I can send the package)

check for tracking to see if they have recieved it yet if you can. they signed for ours on the 15th but generated noa1s on the 18th and check went through on the 19th the noa1s came in the mail today and we live in los angeles. seems they take a few days to process and cash the check after they get the package in hand. shocking for a gov agency i know, you think they would cash the check as soon as possible :whistle:

oh if it matters we did fedex to the second address in the instructions not the lockbox. :unsure:

No shipment number (not fedex or ups), we sent the package in postal mail to the chicago lock box . No way we can check the status , only thing we know is the money orders not yet cashed .

Mine is still not cashed but I received the NOA1 already. I shipped mine through USPS Priority Mail with signature confirmation so we can track it. Just hang on, you'll get yours soon :thumbs:

Dont worry yours is coming too. I got mine NOA with the biometrics date all together in a couple of days. Actually i got both at the same time..Good luck...

INTERVIEW DATE JULY 30TH 2009 - APPROVED 10 year Green Card!!!!!
