Okay, so I was getting money out of my wallet to pay the Jimmy John's delivery guy, and I saw this stamp on the back of my $1. It said to check our www.wheresgeorge.com . So... lol... I did. I registered the $1 I had and I could see that someone had registered that same bill in New York 55 days ago. LOL So, somehow, in 55 days, the $1 travelled from New York to Michigan. Now, the bill is in the hands of the delivery guy from JJ's.

Kinda neat. :)

note: Ooops... no it is not in the hands of the delivery guy. It is sitting in front of me. Guess I grabbed other singles to give him as a tip. Oh, well. The $1 will be on a journey soon enough. Perhaps I'll use it at the border crossing on Monday! :P

There was a thread on here the other day where people felt strongly about shopping at Walmart.

My girlfriend LOVES American Walmarts. She says "Where else can you go and buy all your camping and fishing gear, your groceries, and your booze all in one store?"

I buy lots of pushup bras. That's easily 30% of my monthly budget.

 I'm just getting all I can right now because Tim DOES NOT like Walmart, and I don't like fights!!

Now, before anyone says anything, I respect him and if he doesn't want me to shop there...then I won't.

Course, once I learn how to be a Southern Belle....I'll bat my baby blues at him......

My $$ is definitely going to be going towards the commissary on base when I get to NE! But less of it than I would fork over at Walmart or a local grocery store! Every time I have been in the commissary I am like a kid in a candy store! Most items are HALF the price than at local grocery store, some items remain the same, but it still a deal when you can spend almost 40 bucks less on your grocery bill! :D

I will probably still shop at Walmart and Target, but not for groceries, maybe canned items, but thats probably it. I was shocked to see that WalMart sold liquor! Where I am in Canada they don't!

Only liquor stores in Canada have license. But everywhere in the US..it's free game!! Well, not free..you have to pay for it. I think you can even buy it in the dollar stores! LOL.

Actually, the dollar store I went to in SC even had a frozen food section! That I like! And the cleaning supplies where NOT the cheaper kind, but name brand. I'll be doing lots of shopping there for sure.
