Hi. This is my first post so bear with me. Last week I received our NOA2 Approval Notice in the mail which was dated May 31st. Strangely, when I checked the USCIS website and logged my case number in, it shows only the NOA1 date (back in early Feb) and nothing further. I also did not receive any e-mail notifications that I had signed up for. It seems that other Visa Journey members are able to follow the "touches" of their application, and know when it reaches the foreign consulate, etc., and am wondering why our case shows no updates on the USCIS website.

Thanks!

Karen

I just got my NOA2 in the mail today.. Actually had to find out through NVC yesterday that they had my case and it was approved. I was registered on the USCIS website to get emails too.. I got nothing.. Even called them yesterday morning before calling NVC and the USCIS cust. rep told me I was still pending? I think here lately alot of people are just getting their NOA2 in the mail and no updates anywhere else..

Mine didnt show up for 3 months. It first appeared on monday showing that it was pending, then on Tuedays it was "touched". After that there was nothing, but we got the NOA2 in the mail yesterday showing it was approved on Monday. Some people's petitions never show up, some never get touches, some get touches but no notification, and some get everything. Its based on the people who were reviewing your petition and them doing things like they are suppose to. If you got the NOA2 though, you are good to go! Your petition will be, if it has not already been, sent to NVC and they will take over the name check and then send you a letter with your consulate number when they forward it on. You can probably call NVC at this point as well to see if they have your petition yet as its been 2 weeks.

LOL Don't tell them but we got our NOA2, visa, got married, filed AOS, got the green card 6 months ago and our case is still listed as "received and pending"

Don't worry, be happy.
