It is amazing how they play with people's lives. They really deserve to be put in your shoes for one day so that they know that there are real people behind those visa petitions and not just a bunch of papers. This kind of power over people's lives should not be put on the hands of just one human being.

I'm really sorry he didn't got the visa. I really am.

PEACE............

me too its hard.

I am sorry, Sara, after reading this I, myself feel like crying. I don't understand why they are making it so difficult for you. If it is not one excuse it is another. But I do admire your faith, and I believe God will make a way for all of us to be with our husbands very soon! God bless you, you are still a rock.

Give Generously, Live Fully, Laugh Often, Love Completely...AND PRAY ALWAYS!!!

He is home!!!

its hard thats for sure, and being in the black hole at csc makes me crazy, so i guess since we cant seem to catch a break, the next thing to do is find the way to get the money to go there and stay six months, and pray that they dont give us a load of ####### over direct filing.........never in my wildest dreams did i even begin to think that something so simple could become so complicated.

Hi,

I do not know about about while waiting on a K-1/k-3 visa, But my Fiancee got her B2 from Russia before we were engaged (which is a notoriously hard country for a single, young woman to get a visa) This differs from country to country from what I have seen. Basically, The consul may ask for some proof of ties to her country, Bank Acct, car payments, lease agreement/ownership of property, letter from her employer, Proof if she has any children that she will be leaving behind. I also sent my fiancee a letter of invitation stating that I will make sure I will personally see to it that she has transportation to the airport and that I understand she must return in given time stated on her visa stamp. Her parents had also written a letter stating that they expected her to come back to Russia. she was approved in less than 5 minutes. She said they only asked why she was visiting, She had even said it was to go see her boyfriend. The consul then just reminded her she could not marry while she was in the US and then said "Have a nice trip in America....DO NOT GET MARRIED WHILE YOU ARE THERE." So, It is not impossible but yes, it can be very difficult as I have seen a lot of people have been denied while still having strong ties to their home country. It is worth a chance if you have the money and can afford the consul fee. The worse they can say is "No" no harm no foul.

Best of luck,

Chris
