Doing fine queue...

We haven't been able to really check out OC as hubby is very busy at his new job...hopefully things should quieten down in a few weeks and then we can hit the surf and the sand :)

I am trying to keep busy as much as I can....but am itching to start working again. I hope NVC schedule a IR1 interview for me this week so that I can be over and done with all the waiting.

I was just mentioning to my hubby how your wife has to wait for GC....If it is not one thing it's another

Does she plan on looking for a job and start working soon? How is she liking NYC...You live in NYC right?

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Hey Seren - She will probably look to do something soon, she is just at home getting ready to get her driver's license, and really beginning to settle in. I do live in NYC, so we have been really doing touristy stuff the last couple of weekends. She is settling in pretty well which is a good thing.

Yes its definitely one thing or another with USCIS, I'm actually going to call them shortly and see what the status is.

Hey Lisa - How are you doing? All settled in with the hubby?

Ya Que, If NY's manual is anything like ours..its 115 pages long  I need to find some sample test questions so that we can practice. Then he needs to get behind the wheel and learn! heh

Wendy,

we should get you, Que's wife,CnT's hubby and Yazied and have a group driving practice test online :jest:

 cnt's hubby is studying for the driving test like he's taking the mcat's or something

He's read the book, been looking at the practice questions and writing all the answers down. He also made us order some more online practice tests. He's practiced and repeated on those until he got all the questions correct.

Hopefully he'll be taking the test this week. Can't wait. I totally hate driving!

Where is Jen? I miss her
