i forgot to put our names on the back of the passport photos... but we are doing the visa through a lawyer and everything is sent in about two weeks ago... is it ok? would the lawers catch that??

I did the same and it was sent through the lawyer as well, but I still got my NOA1 in a few days. I don't think it should be a big deal, as the lawyers process a lot of fiance visas. It's not something to worry about, as long as all the paperwork is fine.

No - NOA1 (Notice of Action) simply means your petition was accepted and is pending - it won't actually get adjudicated for several months. I still wouldn't worry myself over it.

Do the USCIS instructions actually inform us to write names on the back of the passport style fotos? Never do more than you are asked to do with these govt entities: They will use your enthusiasm against you.
