Hi Vjers, I have been a passive member of the forum but now i feel compelled to be active and ask for some advice as I filed the i130 for my husband on nov 18th 2008 and got the NOA 1 dated the 26th of Nov 2008 while the NOA 1 for the i129 was dated the 3rd of Dec 2008 but i have not got a response as yet and my call to the 1 800 number was received by an operative who requested me to call back in 30 days if i still did not get a response..

Does anybody have any suggestions as to the next line of action?..will be much appreciated

You should contact your U.S. senators, not your state senators. Contact your U.S. congressman as well.

You should call their office and ask to speak to the person in constituent services who deals with immigration cases. They'll let you know whether they want you to mail or fax them the information they need. I made the mistake of just mailing my paperwork to one senator's office as their website requested and I didn't get an initial call back until weeks after I got my NOA2. I got a much better and quicker response when I actually spoke to someone at my other senator's office.

Naturalization

N-400 package mailed: 04/16/2013

N-400 package delivered: 04/16/2013

NOA1 date: 04/17/2013

Biometrics: 08/23/2013

Interview: 10/07/2013

Oath: 01/23/2014

DONE!

Hi,

I actually just came from the same experience. I filed my wife's I-130 late Nov and I-129F Mid Dec. I did not see any touches on her file from the USCIS website from when the case was actually inputted online.

I received word through email from the USCIS on Monday that both petitions had been approved. This was right on schedule as the Vermont Service Center had listed.

We're pretty much on the same timeline so I'd expect word this week or next. Good luck to you!
