I'm actually hoping that this expenses scandal produces some constitutional changes (wishful thinking? - probably, all the opportunism makes me sick, but politics always...).

True he doesn't have the number of listeners Rush enjoys but come on dude...very few Radio talking heads can claim the numbers Savage has.

As an example, what percentage of the US population listens to the highest Left-wing radio personality?

If Savage is "Obscure" ... what does that make them?

I would think he wouldnt have near the numbers as Medved, Hannity or Glenn Beck but I will have to do my homework and find out. Its seems most of the right has written Savage off anyways.

Savage seems more "out there", willing to say things and ruffle feathers the other generic RW talkers won't touch.

I don't believe he is broadcast in my market but I have heard him on podcast (free of course).

Apparently his numbers are pretty strong, if you feel he has been "written off", I'd like to know why.

He is somewhat entertaining to listen to, though as others have said... a little self absorbed ... but then again the Humble gravitate to the Ministry not radio/tv.

I agree he's out there but I think he has made some strong comments that are unreasonable and goes beyond just ruffling feathers.

I think most have written him off because of the strong comments hes made, and people like Medved, Hannity, and maybe Glenn Beck(I dont listen Beck, hes like a political evangelist) have from time to time made comments about him and dont really seem to stand by him, almost seems like there trying to distance themselves from him. Although they do stand up for Ann Coulter,(most of the time) not sure why, shes right up there with Savage if you ask me.
