I got my biometrics letter yesterday! I'm getting excited!

Even I don't know if it speeds up the process but I feel probability of you getting interview letter earlier is more if FP is done earlier, so I feel you

should go for it provided it is convenient to you. Here in Atlanta, walk-ins are llowed only if the ASC office is not crowded when you try to do walk-in.

Hi Everyone,

I just received my FP notice today. Couldn't check my mails yesterday so it could have been sitting there since yesterday. The FP date is 7/22/09 in Elizabeth NJ.

Does anyone know if walk-in earlier than the given date actually speeds-up the whole remaining process (i.e. receiving the IL and so on...)?

@wannabe_texan congrats on your bio notice! finally!

@roosh - I was going to try to go early, but I think I'm sticking with my original date, it's this Saturday (Also Elizabeth support center). If the moment occurs I'll try to see if they are open to walk-ins. I would imagine that if you do get fingerprinted sooner, it would accelerate your timeline, and if you're eligible, why not try? haha

Thanks for a quick opinion PRK73 and CColdwell,

I was thinking of doing the same. However, now that I know CColdwell is going to the same place this Saturday, I think I will just wait to hear what he sees at the ASC in Elizabeth. I think that will increase my chance of hitting it right the first time.

Hi June Gang-

I can see via online banking our check was cashed- I imagine the NOA will be here anyday. Happy to see people progressing- it'll be exciting when people start getting interview letters!

Hi gang

just completed BIO in new Fort Myers FL location for ASO.

Been open just 4 weeks , staff were courteous and friendly so unlike that dump at ft lauderdale.

Anyhow on comment card they asked me to fill out I marked excellent for all.

and added that it would be nice to have a ft myers office for interview /test/oath .

Seems I am headed for miami for that last step in the journey.

Yes, I can't wait to see who gets the interview letter first - I know it won't be me, Houston seems slower than the other offices so far...

Glad your bio went well! Did they give you the booklet/CD also? I hope the new ASC I have to go to is nice also, I was all set to go to the place that was just a couple of miles from our house that I went to twice before, but this appointment is at an ASC about 20 miles away - I think it must be a new one too, so I'll be interested to see how it's different...
