I am so sorry for your loss. Yes, make an infopass appointment at http://www.uscis.gov - go to the right hand column, select "Schedule an Appointment" and follow the instructions. Bring information about your mother's passing (notice from the doctor, hospital, things like that) and request an emergency AP. You should be able to get one very quickly - within a day or two - and then you can go home to be with your family and say goodbye. Take care and good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thank u so much guys for all the condolences. I was really in pain.....I don`t know what to say right now. I am in dillemma. I don`t know if it`s really coincidence. Just today around 12:30 noon time, our mail man arrived and I got the approval of my Advance Parole, today my mom died and today I got also the Authorization for Parole.

I am confuse now If I will be going home, would it be a conflict because I have my philippine passport and my advance parole documents is in my married now??? I am confuse what to do right now????

I need your immediate replies. God bless!

bring your marriage cert... my GC is in my married name too yet my passport is in my maiden name (when we went back to phil)... it wont be a problem i believe... and copy some important docs for you to feel secure (like noa or bio app just for back up)... otherwise an AP would be ok and dont lose it!

Good day! I just talked to my sisters in the philippines and my mom pass away this morning( US Time). She didn`t respond anymore in the medicine and she didnt make it.

Please include my mom in your prayers for the Eternal Repose of her soul.

What is my option now? Do I have options. I am so depressed because of this. Can I go home even I don`t have advance parole? I don`t know what to do right now?

Thank u so much and God bless us all!

Love,

Netscot

I am very sorry for you and your family, I know exactly how you feel been far from your family in this moment. (F)

If you are planning to go to Phils. You may go to your uscis office and explain your situation, there is a form that will require contact information from your mother's doctor or hospital I don't remember all of it, I tryed to get that 2 years ago (no infopass) when my father died; my extention letter was about to expire while removing conditions but they explained me that I could use my letter and did not need that form.

Be strong.

sorry I missed your prior post, as you have been told bring your marriage certificate with you, I don't think you will have a problem.
