So shortly after posting this, my boss told me to go home. I was highly motivated to do that. ;)

I was also highly motivated for the nap I just finished.

Thanks for the cows (OY!) and well wishes. I got lost the other day looking for something near my work and ended up beside of field full of them. I skedaddled but quick!

To answer, work is going great other than being super busy. Part of what our company does relates to construction so we're in peak season right now for a lot of projects. Add to that the fact that the company has doubled in size in the last year, a lot of my skill sets are being utilized "creatively" (meaning they have me doing things way outside of my job description because I'm able to do them). I don't think there'll be any issue with my performance bonus at the end of the year. heh

CAPS is also doing well; he's moved up the ladder a notch at work and they're very happy with him.

We have tomatoes, peas and strawberries coming in and this weekend we'll be clearing more area of the backyard for more things to grow.

Our 4 cats are getting along famously now. Hubby decided that it would be "cute" every year on the anniversary of bringing me and my 2 cats here, to bring home 2 new cats. His visits to the pet store are now restricted to when I can supervise. ;)

That's about it. Waiting for my corrected green card to arrive in late-July(ish) and then hopefully will get to go home and see family before the roads get too gross.

I wish I had more time for keeping up with everyone. I try but your posts are a 24x7 job. :P I do think of you all often. And sometimes you even creep up in our home conversations.

Electricity is really just organized lightning.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

How's the weather up there? I am unmotivated here too until about 7 PM at night or early in the morning.

The humidity has gone up and we are getting rain in the evenings, which makes the motivation a little better after the rain.

I had to get motivated to get packed, going to New Mexico with some friends... Hubby can't go he just landed a new job, and he said he has to work Monday... I was so bummed out!!!

good luck with everything, and checking in....

I'm glad things are going well for ya, cerise. And I hear ya about keeping up with VJ, actually I don't even try anymore. So right now I'm kind of at a loss of what's going on with all the drama again. Ah well.

I try to keep contact with a few through e-mails.

No PMs here either :P /wrist

OK I'm going back to bed to sleep this nasty cold off a bit. Mmm green tea.

Eh, Raspberry you know the drama here. SSDD... ;)

And yes, Daisy! I was wondering if I hadn't seen you because I wasn't keeping up or because you weren't! Happy Canada Day (belated) to you too! :)

Karen, days are mostly good. Nothing worth complaining about (and as my grandpa says, no one listens anyway! )

I hope you all have a safe and happy July 4th! :)

edit: thought I missed an answer...the weather is just right, right now. had a heat wave last week that I wasn't happy about, but for now it's in the high 70's/low 80's so completely manageable. :)
