HELLO everyone,

I am a naturalized U.S Citizen and I obtained my green card through marriage to my ex-wife who is a U.S citizen. Our marriage started crumbling down a few years ago and we decided to divorce due to irreconcilable differences. Two years after my divorce, I have married again my new love of my life and I want us to settle here in the U.S. I wanted to know if my wife can apply for AOS here in the U.S ? Has anybody re-married and applied for AOS like me ? Please help.

You give very little information to go on, but I would say if you are a US citizen and you follow the proper procedures to bring your wife to this country, then yes.

I would agree with jundp. You're a U.S. citizen and it shouldn't matter if you were born here or naturalized. You should be able to file for AOS so long as your wife is here legally and you both meet the USCIS requirements for AOS.

Also if you give more info on your situation I'm sure someone here could give you a more detailed answer that is specific to your case.

Good luck !! :)
