Yep, all is valid and now you have the guidlines. They do NOT combine income and your father as co-sponsor will have to be able to support himself, your fiancee and any other members of his family dependent on him.

Are your benefits SSI or SSDI? SSDI can be used. Won't matter if you have a qualified co-sponsor though

Thanks for the informations but I have so many questions........... Some have said they don't allow co-sponsors and some say they do........My benefits are SSI But my Dads is qualified but worried they won't allow him to sponsor him......And we really want to be married...........and I'm going to Ghana in July and we want to be married but may opt out for a traditional wedding that is not a legal wedding........Cause I was told it would be easier to file a I-129 and have more luck than if we were married and filed I-130 can you tell me if that is true...........Would it take longer for a I-130 than for a I-129 I'm really needing all the help and information I can get........so stressed don't want to be without him either way...........

Thanks

I'd meet in person unless you plan on getting off on phone and cam sex the rest of your lives together. Best to"Try the shoe on and be sure it fits" before you make long range plans. LOTS of LDRs go up in smoke when meeting in person.
