I make my own pizza.

Pizza stone for the oven. Big wood paddle to pull it in and out.

I make the dough from scratch, and get all fresh ingredients.

Also - my sauce is home made.

I eat to much pizza ...

I never really liked chain pizza... The independant places are pretty good but too expensive to have often. So now I've learned how to make my own... you don't need to make the dough from scratch - frozen bread dough works great, and so does the dough-in-a-can! Crank the oven up to high and assemble the pizza toppings of your choice, and you can have your own piping hot homemade pizza on the table in 30 minutes flat. :)

We have Round Table Pizza out here...it's called the last, honest pizza. I think it could be the last, honest pizza chain. If you like traditional, grease dripping off your slice pizza, they are the place to go. Then we have California Pizza Kitchen, which is a pretentious and pompous restaurant chain that charges you upwards of $15 for an individual pizza in what amounts to a round, pre-made and probably previously frozen crust, with different, exotic ingredients added to it. It's not real pizza and I don't know why so many schmucks go there, but it's popular.

Store bought is what we do mostly.

Sometimes we'll do pizza German-style.

  • Pizza dough (in the twist-can)
  • Sauce
  • Tuna
  • Corn

Yummy... (no one does Tuna pizza here, but popular in Germany and other parts of Europe)

Well - most of the places out here charge to much, and sometimes they offer something (like poppy seed crust) - only to take it away.

Plus I saw this -

So I went online, got all the specs, quick run to the store and in pizza heaven.

(making one right now :))
