Does anyone actually know whats going on there at the moment? they seem to of really slowed down on K-1 visa's lately which is a pain in the for people who are already behind the estimated processing dates. I mean there hasn't been a group of visa's processed for quite a while and I'm wondering when things will start up again.

Any theories?

What exactly are you looking at to determine that the VSC is slow ? I'm a newbie with an NA01 of May 1, 2009 but, all the stats I see on VJ leads me to believe that NA02's are coming in at about 4 months - USCIS states 6 months..I think it is much better than the prior years ?

APPROVED, NOTHING COMPLICATE!!!!! GOOD LUCK.

I called USCIS to see if they could answer that question that was posted earlier....the lady that I spoke to was about as confused as a termite in a wooden yo-yo hahaha, the six month on USCIS is an approximation on how long the approval of your papers to get approved. Looking at the information of cases that have been approved over the last three month for the Vermont Center the average number of days between the first and second NOA is 138 days which is about 4.6 months, so you have a general idea of what time frame your looking for, i dont know if that 138 average includes the additional time you spent when you have an RFE..

I'm starting to get irate with it all to be honest and will be calling florida's congressman next week if I don't hear anything by Wednesday. I don't really think its right that people are made to go through this unneccassary waiting simple because they happen to be giving to an employee who is behind on his/her work. But there isn't anything we can really do apart from calling up our representative and hope they can make something happen. I don't know why people keep getting pushed back behind people who havn't waited as long but truth betold it highlights how unorganised the whole process is.

Rant over.

Sorry about that but its not making my fiancee's life or mine any easier with all the stress it brings with it.

Anyway does anyone have any updates (or any ideas) about whats going on at VSC?

Well....we only have a little over a month after sending the papers. So I don't even know when will we earn the right to complain. hehehe. Although there is no other choice but wait.....it's still gets harder as the time passes by. I just hope that we all have at least a normal waiting time and not have our petitions lost in limbo.
