I had my interview on late April -09. IO ripped off the I-94 from the passport, but did not stamp it. Will this be a problem in the future? To tell you the truth, the interview sucked so bad. We were called stupid etc. and IO accused us of the fraud. Yet, today we received approval letters saying the GC should be mailed within 3 weeks.

But don't they usually stamp your passport after taking that I-94?

You can take the approval notice to an infopass appointment and receive the stamp if you need to travel before your GC. Otherwise forget it.

12/10/08 - Sent I-130/I-485/I-765 from VWP

12/16/08 - Received

02/13/09 - I-765 Biometrics

02/17/09 - I-485 Biometrics

04/23/09 - Interview - Approved!

04/27/09 - Card production ordered

05/02/09 - Welcome to America letter

05/06/09 - Green card received!

Whoever called you stupid was out of line. i see that you did not post your interview experience. Please do so that others can see what happens at an interview and how they can best prepare themselves.

Congrats on your approval...your "stupidity" pays off and all that matters is that you have your GC. Guess the IO was the stupid one for accusing you yet approving you haha.
