Guys,

I haven't received any reply to my query. Its now 32 days since my K1 was approved and till date VSC has not moved the file to NVC.

Can anyone help me with VSC phone #s or mail id for us to contact them and find out whats happening? USCIS is unable to help!!

Hi guys,

We got the letter from VSC stating that our I129F has been approved on April 17th. Its now 1 month since and NVC claims they have not received our file.

How do we find out more on this? Please help !!!!!

My fiance has been calling the NVC everyday and they haven't received the file. USCIS only confirms that our file has been approved but wouldn't tell why it hasn't been sent to NVC as yet !!! Can we call or mail the VSC to check why the file hasn't been sent to NVC?? Any ideas.....

call USCIS or NVC and check status...

This happened for a number of us, except my took 15 days, i know your probably over the 1 month mark. I believe Raj & Monica, his case took over 1 month mark but don't worry, it does get there! I guess NVC is just backed up. I believe NVC is telling people that it can take up to 6 weeks to 90 days. I think just keep calling NVC the 603 area code number everyday, maybe twice a day to check up on the status.

Good luck!

I cannot understand what is the matter with VSC !!!!!!!!!!!! After 45 days of constantly calling them, they told us that they've lost our approved petition. We sent them a duplicate and now after 60 days, they've found the original petition!! Our approved file is still sitting in VSC since April 17th and hasn't moved to NVC.

What does this mean. We're going mad calling USCIS and checking status everyday. Has anybody had the same experience. Please help !! :crying::angry:

It does happen. Delays due to misplaced files and delays for files in transit. If they have found the original petition check with NVC and see if they've finally received it.

It sounds like you might want to get a congrassperson or senator involved. From my understanding, they can intervene on your behalf with USCIS and NVC. Google your local representatives and fill out and fax them the waiver on their websites. Then call them and talk to the person in charge of helping visa applicants. They should help you, seeing that USCIS admitted to 'losing' your application and causing general chaos and all.
