Case transferred to CSC and received

My case was transferred on 4/13/09 and seems to have finally arrived a month later to the CSC office according to the following email:

The last processing action taken on your case

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred. The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. I am hoping that it doesn't take 6 months for them to process it since they decided to speed up the process by transferring it in the first place.

One can only hope!! Time to check the CSC processing dates and try to guess a timeline for myself.

Does anyone know if the biometrics that were taken also get mailed out to the CSC?

I am grateful that they've updated my case online for each step so far! I hope they continue doing so.

congrats, on the transfer, hopefully yours won't take to long, mine was transfered on 4/13/09 and was approved by CSC today. i orriginally filer mar 25th

That's encouraging!!! Did you receive the same email stating that it was pending at CSC?

By the way, Congrats on your approval!!! I take it you never received the EAD or AP? Not that you need it now.

I thought this:

"On November 29, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

...was the CSC transfer and the one you have is the one where you're going to get an interview 'cause it's transferred to the office near you...
