What are you talking about woman? I post in response to the weakness in your arguments. How you perceive that is well your problem and it seems to be rather a large one by the rambling nonsense in your post.

How on earth you make out that I am trying to make you change or post differently is quite beyond me. I find your posts amusing, why would I want that to change? I think this is a case of your perceptions of me colouring how you think I feel about your posts. Amusing, yes, quite definitely. Carry on.

You must be kidding. Saying that my posts don't fit your logic isn't much of a commentary. It's not a stretch to show that there's not only not much more to it than that, but that you go out of your way to inject yourself even when I'm not even making an argument at all. If I saw more to your contributions, I wouldn't see them as merely a means to get my attention. They certainly don't warrant any kind of definitive engagement. All they amount to, separately or collectively, is your constant drone of ad homieums directed my way. It makes you look desparate to appear relevant to the topic when you rarely are. That' a big weakness of yours, but who really cares?

You wish to persist in this notion that I need, even crave your attention? Really, this is quite fascinating. I can only imagine that you wish it were true. I have made no secret about it, I find your posts amusing. If anything I do prompts you to post more, well, that has to be a win from my point of view.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

You are easily amused by me. I'm not easily impressed by you.

Have fun with that.

They're not using the "you're illogical" horse sh-t again are they?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Here in NoVA a range of counties have enacted laws which permits police to check the immigration status of anyone arrested or even fined; as they rightfully should. No-Brainer really. It's absolutely moronic to think that someone can enter a country illegally, then break another law, only to turn around and say you are just picking on me.

The article is just another example of rights in the United States of America having a higher priority than another human beings life. I don't know what world (or reality) some people here live in but there are not too many countries out there that would permit illegal aliens to kill their citizens (legal residents) and police, and basically let them get away with it, again and again, in the name of not discriminating. One murder is one too many, well in most other civilized countries.

---------

Here are some other interesting crime related facts:

  • Eight American children are victims of sexual abuse by illegal aliens every day – a total of 2,920 annually.
  • But at the end of 2003, approximately 267,000 illegal aliens were incarcerated in all U.S. jails and prisons.

In April 2005, the Government Accountability Office released a report on a study of 55,322 illegal aliens incarcerated in federal, state, and local facilities during 2003.

It found the following:

  • The 55,322 illegal aliens studied represented a total of 459,614 arrests – some eight arrests per illegal alien;
  • Their arrests represented a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses – some 13 offenses per illegal alien;
  • 36 percent had been arrested at least five times before.

---------

People would overthrow the government downunder if illegal aliens got away with the above.

I don't have any requirement for you to be impressed by me, I don't care what you think of me, that's my point :)

Interestingly, what I find amusing about you does not appear to be something that is within your control, at least such has been the case thus far.

You think ordinary citizens should carry with them, proof of citizenship and be asked by local police any time they are pulled over or questioned, to show proof of citizenship??? :o That's not the kind of America I want to live in.

The police can run a simple background check on the person's ID as part of the usual background / outstanding warrant checks when pulled over. Much like when you call a bank etc and they authenticate you are who you say you are. If the check fails, the police should have the right to ask further questions. Legal residents must carry their PR card anyway, so the further check part would be easy to authenticate.

Now, if someone is actually arrested, then their status should be verified and thoroughly. No-brainer.
