Hello everyone! Just seeking an opinion from you guys, how about if i am not going to schedule my interview and will just wait the appointment letter from USEM, how long it will be(USEM receipt of our paperworks from NVC was May 4)? What should i expect, is it an email notification or tru snail mail informing me that i am eligible for interview ? Your opinions are highly appreciated!

:hehe:

Basically, all you do during the N-400 process is waiting to hear from USCIS through snail mail. First you get your NOA that they received your application. Then, most of the time, you receive an appointment letter for biometrics. Usually you get your fingerprints taken about a month after you mailed of your application (unless they still have valid fingerprints in the system). And then, a few weeks after that, if your fingerprints and namecheck cleared, you'll receive an invitation for an interview. That's when the IO decides, if your eliglible for U.S. citizenship, and when you get approved or denied. If you get approved and get lucky, you get to take a same-day-oath. Otherwise you might receive an oath date for a later time. Unless you're out of luck and your application gets denied.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a speedy process of your application.

You posted this in the citizenship forum, but your profile says you are applying for a K1. The answer to your question will depend where you are in the process. If you are asking about the K1 interview in Manila, you will probably get the most answers if you re-post this in the Philipines forum.
