Hi WAT - Welcome to May! By "evidence" are you referring to the evidence of your relationship? My list looks the same as yours, as I have the approved I-130 from my CR1 visa application. The only other difference is that I'm not including the tax transcripts and the employment verification letter. My husband is self-employed so I didnt think a letter from himself talking about how much he values himself in his current position would be all that convincing!

yeah I ment the evidence of relationship. I thought we just have to show it at the interview...

I got the I-693 papers back today. They are in a sealed envelope. Do I have to send the whole thing? I mean I'm not allowed to open it so I couldn't make copies... The doc just gave me a copy of the first page.

Oh we'll send it tomorrow!!! I'm so excited!:dance:

Try Dr. Arnold. Do a search on VJ for Dr. Arnold. it's $30 dollars.

Hi there!

I got two question, which might be stupid, but I am totally overwhelmed by all the stuff right now.

1. On form I-485, Page 3, Question 12: I had a J-1 Visa 3 years ago. I had the 2 year foreign residence, but I obtained some waiver visa when I went to see my husband. So I have to check yes. Is that correct? It is so confusing, because I think the 2 year foreign residence is way more important than obtaining a waiver...

2. On form G-325A, First line: What is the File Number? There is an A already printed. Do I have to put my Alien registration number in there?

Thank you so much for helping me out. :)

Isn't the waiting the worst thing about all that? I hate it. By the time we receive the GC we all should be masters in beeing patient. If you count the time from applying for the visa till receiving the GC, we are talking about more than one year of being patient. :clock:

Oh and question! how did you guys package your stuff?

Right now, my stuff is seperated by form and all the stuff required per form in a folder. and then I used a big clip to keep them all together.

Then I put the cover letter on top and attached the two checks to that.

Is that good? Or should I put everything together in 1 folder(NO idea how that's all going to fit in 1 folder)

actually here I took a picture

Picture 1

Picture 2

I can't believe how thick it is!! Also I know you guys Love my paperclips :dancing:
