I did a search using the title of this topic but didn't find what I was looking for. Hieu and I will be entering at LAX in a few days and while our case has been very simple so far, I want to make sure I'm not forgetting something important.

I'm looking for a concise list of all the documentation that will be required at the POE. Any other tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again to all the VJers that have helped us to get this far.

you need all of the document that is sealed inside of the "brown envelope" make sure that envelope is sealed before you leave Vietnam and also you'll have to fill out a form on the plane, once you arrive you can ask the officer which line you and your fiancee can go through together, once you know the line, go there, and wait for the other officer to call you, you will hand over the brown envelope and the customs form to the officer, he is going to break the seal for the brown envelope and make sure everything is in there, they will probably ask your fiancee a few questions, take a picture of her and finger prints, if everything is fine, you will be able to go to baggage claim, then claim your bags and walk to the exit, there should be another officer waiting there, hand in your customs form to the officer and head to the exit to get into the street..

You will need her passport and the sealed envelope the consulate sent with her visa. Very concise I would say.

Our experience at LAX was the same: Passport, I-94, Brown Envelope.

Our immigration officer was married on a K visa so she understood the whole experience. :)
