Yesterday I received my NOA#1 for my I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765 papers. The receipt numbers all start with MSC on the USCIS website when you want to check the case online it says the receipt number should start with EAC, WAC, LIN or SRC. Does anybody know why mine would start with MSC? I'm confused!

thanks.

because the case number was assigned by the National Benefits Center (sometimes referred to as the Misouri Service Center)...

What the website says is "It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC)." Not an all inclusive list.

Mine starts with MSC too and until now I can't check it online. I just know all the progress through the mail. USCIS said they have problem on their website when I called them. Some case number will show up and some don't. So don't worry about that.

My EAD MSC receipt number did not work for weeks (when checked online). Then it suddenly started working when my EAD got approved, on April 13. I received the actual EAD card on April 15.

So you will all probably have to wait until your EAD gets approved to be able to check it online.

I applied for the AOS and EAD on February 22, I believe. Then I got an RFE on March 12, and I sent some additional evidence to them 3 days later and they received it on March 17, so then finally I received my EAD on April 15.

Additional income tax forms. I only sent them the W-2 forms which wasn't enough.
