My Wife just got her new passport with her Married name on it. The problem is, they did the address wrong and left out one word. It should have the flat number, building, complex, city, state and country but they left off the building name.

We are concerned that this may affect the process and raise red flags and are debating whether she should go through the process again. It took about two months to get the passport and we hate to delay things by that much more.

What is the consensus here, will they be concerned that the building name is missing from the passport although it is on every other piece of documentation we have?

Thanks, Michael

I don't believe that will be an issue - if her name and other important data is correct, (DOB, etc) - it should be ok.

Since it has the actual address - the building name is not really that important I would think.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
