Well, it's nice to see some cases are progressing. We got an RFE today (dated May 12! because they didn't originally address it with our full address) asking for the Affidavit of Support. I didn't realize that there were multiple forms called Affidavit of Support and sent the wrong one. Maybe we'll get back on track now...But, if they keep sending things not fully addressed, which get returned and resent, this is going to take a loooooong time.

Sorry to hear about the RFE. Did you fill out an I-134 instead of an I-864? I almost made that mistake myself.

It's really frustrating waiting and dealing with an RFE especially when they make mistakes like not addressing it properly.

Hopefully it's the only one you get. It stalled our process for 2 weeks. Our case went back to being processed (or waiting in the pile) on May 21 and we've not had any movement since.

Hang in there!

I just got home to find an email from USCIS to say that my EAD card production has been ordered and I should receive it within 30 days! Yay! Last Monday I was tentatively offered a job (pending my employment authorisation) so this is great news for us!

As an FYI, I received an RFE at the end of April, it took us nearly a month to reply as I needed info from my joint sponsor who was overseas and USCIS resumed case processing on 27th May (exactly 2 weeks ago).

Congrats on the EAD. Our case resumed processing on May 21, three weeks ago. Not sure if I should do an info pass or keep waiting.

I agree, I think I would wait a bit longer. I am also not sure if you can request an infopass appointment unless it has been longer than the expected wait time of 90 days (I'm sure someone will correct me if this is wrong).

LB, you might be right. Is that 90 days from the EAD NOA??? Oh, well we will at least wait until July before we try to figure out 90 days from when for the infopass.

We had some good news yesterday. We received a letter for the interview. It's July 28th.

Still nothing on the EAD and AP. Is it unusual to get the interview letter before the EAD and AP?
