just want to ask something guys, about AOS..

My husband might be deployed overseas this June, and before he leaves we're going to file my AOS First. He will be back by November '09 anyway.

Do you think I will have any trouble in my biometrics and interview for that AOS because my husband is currently working overseas?

thanks in advanced!

Your husband doesn't have to be there when you go for your biometrics, so you shouldn't worry for that part. As for the AOS interview, you might actually be transferred to CSC and get your GC without any interview.. but, if that is not the case and you do get the interview date before he is back, you can call the USCIS to reschedule a different date on a later time when he is back again :)

N400 Timeline:

12/14/11 - Sending out N400 package

12/19/11 - Received by USCIS

12/21/11 - NOA date

12/22/11 - Check cashed

12/27/11 - Received NOA

02/06/12 - Received yellow letter (pre-interview case file review)

03/13/12 - Placed in line for interview scheduling (3 yr anniversary)

03/17/12 - Received interview letter

04/17/12 - Interview - No decision, application under further review

04/17/12 - Biometrics

04/25/12 - Placed in line for oath scheduling (so I'm approved yay!)

04/27/12 - Received oath ceremony date

05/09/12 - Oath ceremony!!

Milimelo is right.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE INTERVIEW WITH YOUR HUSBAND

IF HE IS AN ARMY SERVICE PERSONNEL and DEPLOYED.

Of course, you have to show his deployment papers along with the other supporting

documents to IO during the interview.

Biometric Place is about 35 minutes from Richardson.

It's a quick and easy process, Our took about 20 minutes from walking into door until completion.

More than likely you AOS will be approved with no Interview.
