Our knight has come to save us all.

He began as a simple huckster shaking down government

agencies and scamming public funding under the

ambiguous title of community organizer.

But his ability to talk well caught the media

by their collective heart, and it was love at first sound bite.

They took control of building an image for him as the man

who would reform our country into a quasi socialist nation

and change the world in the process ( heard this before?).

Finally, his transformation is complete. He has ascended to a glorious high

that no one could have predicted 18 months ago. In the minds of the media,

he is indeed the Messiah sent from the heavens to deliver the world into

a new era of something wonderful that will be better than everything else

that wasn't as wonderful even though it could have been, but wasn't.

So, here we are - over a month after Inauguration Day! Whoddahthunkit?

We have trusted the future, or at least the next

four years to a cult figure who brought with him a

questionable background, no executive experience

and a very liberal congress controlled in both houses

by people of questionable motives, morals and ethics.

Now we've got Obama promising a cure if we just pass whatever whacko economy plan he pushes. Must be working because a lot of Dems are pretty passive now and blaming any failures on bad attitudes on anyone who questions the wisdom of our newbie President.

I want him to fail because if he fails the country will succeed. His policies are antithetical to the nation's success. He wasts us to become European socialists and dictator appeasers so badly, and that's not who we are. I don't want a damn nanny state. I don't want my kids and grandkids to be paying for money spent in 2009. I don't want the government forcing what they think is best on me. We need a lot less government, not more. Under Obama, the lowest common denominators among us are elevated to the motivation for policy changes. Not good nor healthy for citizen psychology.
