Add about 1 more month on to the couple of weeks before it hits a officers desk. Mine has been on a desk for 8 days so far, was told this morning by USCIS, that is normal, for me to give it several more days. Good luck April filers.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

We have filed DCF in London, not in the States. I am hoping that it will go smoothly and quickly. Thanks for the information.

Count me in!!!

I sent mine off on April 20th...

Got ours mailed today 04/21/2009. Looking at your timeline we have the same wedding day. Was a GREAT friday the 13th for us with 13 people attending the wedding. Good luck on your journey. I'm very anxious but more relieved now that we finally got the I-130 sent. Just glad we got the first step mailed.

That's cool how you were married with 13 people...so symbolic. It's a good thing none of my friends and family are superstious because the whole Friday the 13th thing..

FYI:

you guy should tell the Beneficiary to go get the ACPO Police Certificate, because this can take up to 3 weeks, will you guy waiting for case to go over to NVC. now is the time to gather all the information on your tax and paystub and all those things. Hello April Filers! It was getting lonely on this board but looks like the NOAs are coming  Looks like most of us are in the CSC boat too. Last week my early predicted time date for NOA2 was May 22, 2009- but this week it is pushed to late June 2009. Oh well. Now that the first barrier is done? How did you put the packages together? I wonder if anyone did anything different? Here is my package:

Cover letter indicating purpose and listing all attachements as follows:

1.Payment in the amount of $355 in the form of USPS money order.

2.Completed I-130

3.Copies of Certificate of Naturalization mine

4.Copy of U.S. passport mine

4.Notarized copy of passport from Vietnam for my wife

5.Certified and translated copy of Certificate of Birth from Vietnam for my wife

6.Certified and translated copy of our Certificate of Marriage from Vietnam

7.G-325A and passport style photo in a plastic bag stapled to blank sheet

8.G-325A and passport style photo in a plastic bag stapled to blank sheet

9.4-page Letter providing history of our spousal relationship including wedding

10. 40 photographs from the last several years and wedding

11. travel tickets, visas, and boarding passes for both families (12 pages)

12. Copies of cards, emails, letters, and etc. from various dates (12 pages)

Good luck friends :0)

Hi fellow April filers!!

I havent received my NOA1 yet but I noticed this morning my check was cashed!!!

you are more likely to get your NOA1 today or tomorrow in mail. USCIS online case status is not very reliable, for some case, it never changes there.

i hope we would see some NOA2s for April filers soon :crying::crying::crying:
