Look on the bright side... some of you are seeing your SO's before your approvals.

Yeah, right... I am going to do so in 12 days - flying 15 hours one way, just to spend 8 days together.

I have inner ear problems, so flying makes me incredibly ill for several days (which I learned the last time I went down), so I'm looking forward to a 30 hour, one way, bus ride down to Florida. >.<

Oh, sorry... riding a bus from ONT to FL really sucks, I imagine.

Well, I can't imagine it'll be the most pleasant of things... but far more than being out of commission for three days. Honestly, I've never felt that sick in my life.

But the price is about the same, and I can at least get a very nice view (though it was incredible to be in the air and look down below) of the States as we pass through 'em.

I'm finding that little EAC number to be both a blessing and a curse, as I'm sure you'd all agree...

I hate checking the website and finding that it hasn't been touched for a month. But on the other hand, if I wasn't able to check it, I'd be going out of my skull.

Sam and Ben,

okay so Im late with posting....I recieved my NOA1 hardcopy on April 6.....been waiting ever since. No touch no nothing just waiting :crying: !!!

I am checking everyday since I have the number - I keep hoping for a touch just to know it is being handled ..lol ..but nothing so far - but know many never get one just get the NOA2 by surprise.

I am wondering the same thing I guess I will just get the NOA2 without it ever being touched.......I wish I knew what was going on other than its recievied and pending....lol

I'm finding that little EAC number to be both a blessing and a curse, as I'm sure you'd all agree...

I hate checking the website and finding that it hasn't been touched for a month. But on the other hand, if I wasn't able to check it, I'd be going out of my skull.

Sam and Ben I feel the same way......some days I tell myself I am not gonna check it because there's probably no change but then Im like wat if it did change. At least yours has been touched. Im just patientley waiting till my turn.

Oh my God!!!!!! My timeline has been pushed back almost a full month in less than a week. Farther than when we even started. This is not good.:clock:

I noticed that on mine also.........this sucks

Received my Greyhound tickets in the mail today, which means it's closer to visit time once again.

Of course, a touch of some sort would've been a nice way to turn around a pitiful Friday, but this certainly helps too...

A touch? What's that? USCIS at work? Oh, hell, impossible...

At least you're guaranteed to get some touches when you get down to FL ;-)

I got a bit touched by the sun at work this past week. Does that counts as a "touch"? hehe........

Sorry.....I had to take that one out of my system.

Haha, what does it say when I can honestly admit that I couldn't choose which I would prefer at this point? (Kidding, mostly...)

But yes, believe me, the ever constant "30 days left...20 days left...19 days left...18 days left..." makes the monotony of timelines so much brighter.

At the very least, VJ is claiming September 1st right now for us. How interesting. I'll be sad when that changes (in a week, haha).

USCIS lost our Case in March this year, we were given two options, wait around and see if they find it, or refile with an expedite, the officer we have been dealing with told us that honestly it would be quicker to go the way we have.

This month is the start of our 4 month not beiing together. We had hard one last month, the missing each other really got to me.She handles it much beter then I do.We are at the half way point, thats just for the first step, and it all ready feels like its been a life time.TIme really does stand still when you are in love like this.

I find myself really going to the gym a lote.I alwas went to the gym but now its like Im in there 6 days a week.I have lost all my body fat,my future wife is going to think half her husband is gone hehehe.

It did not help that I got the worse news this past month. My mother is dieing from Lue Garrets disease,(form of Lue Garrets at last stagies) so my emotions have been pretty raw.Thank god my Anya is so clever and smart and so calm.SHe knew I was having a hard time dealing with this and she was trying to make it as easy on me as she could.I love her so much.

Even with her in another country she helped me deal with it.She is a wonderfull woman.

I have to say, the strength you two have to get through the stupidity that is clearly stacking against you is overwhelming. I find it unbelievable that it seems like no one is accountable for the problems you're facing in this process, and my heart goes out to you... It truly isn't right.

Hijacked on a side note, and I apologize.. Just had to send out my thoughts to you. :)

Thank you for the kind words.

Since I am currently here in the USA we are considering the getting married and doing AoS Route now. Part of me feels like its going to be rough because they will think we planned it (which we havent) but part of me thinks it has to be better then the game we are currently playing. We contacted an immigration lawyer that Chris went to Collage with yesterday who is currently looking into if it is legal for us (he seemed to think that it was our best option) and hopes to have all the info back to us tomorrow.

Will keep you all posted, stay strong all :)
