first congratulations for being done with the long journey and almost done for the whole process , and for interview dates it`s coming from the us embassy NOT from NVC as they said and from what am seeing over here in VJ almost the islamic countries have to wait a lil longer for the interview , my thoughts to you just lean back and get everything ready for the interview and it will be over without you know it Good Luck and let us know with any further progress

Um, I might be wrong, but I thought NVC schedules interviews not ISL embassy. Because I am waiting for an interview date, and NVC said they couldnt get one for September but to call next month and see if they got me an October one. This waiting is killing me. And SSB, not to be the bearer of bad news, but keep in consideration that your husband will most likely be put on AP, which can take quite a while. I pray we both get done soon though. Good luck....

what am saying bro is that the NVC gives the embassy for the dates and embassy answer back if it possible or not , and yes you will get the e-mail from the NVC with the interview date thats how it shows the NVC doing it ,and for that dumb thing called AP a been through it and i guess its normal for MENA ( Middle East and North Africa ) Good luck and think positive and top of all faith in god that everything has its time

Should I worry about my reaffirmed petition expiring or not? (expires Oct. 4th)

To date, we haven't heard from the embassy about an interview date. I did send the Embassy a letter asking to extend the validity, but they won't receive it until this coming wednesday (Aug. 26th by UPS).

I asked them in an email when they do the interview scheduling and their answer was that they do it the first week of each month for the 'following' month, which would leave only a 4 day window.
