We all went thru this process to get our loved ones with us.

A lot of us in US Embassy in Manila had to deal with the Document Verification.

This person is gonna cry cuz the US Govt. wants to do some research and make sure all is legit and safe.

Seriously what does this person expect? to be granted entry without any verification of any sort? Everyone has to go thru the same process, the same amount of waiting etc .... Im really sorry some people get tied up in the system for longer periods of time, they need to do something about that but for the rest waiting 5-6 month from start to end is not unreasonable ....

The person who posted this blog was with the partner for at least 9+ months because they obviously had a child together ... why didnt they file earlier? If I had fallen pregnant during the process my fiance would have done anything and everything to be with me and our baby but this person not only waited the entire pregnancy but several months later .... A lot of us had to wait a long time for many many reasons but we all did it ... Im sorry I dont think this person is any more special then any of the rest of us and the system seems to be working as a whole so why fix something that isnt broke ... besides the reasons they make things a little harder is because of the fraud factor and if they ease the rules up they will end up with more fraud cases ...

And I honestly cant see what CNN or the congressman is going to do ... there are stages to the process and they need to be followed ... which step do we ditch? police check? medical? The process is set up to protect the country as a whole and the petitioner ... just think of all the undesirables that can end up in the country if they relaxed the rules and made it easier to get into the country ...

Anyway thats my opinion take it or leave it .... but seriously people need to spend time getting to know what they need to do to get thru the process painlessly and hastily rather then spend the entire time complaining about how unfair and hard it is ....

I am just trying to get a website up to get attention from the governement for all of us people who are legally trying to bring our loved ones to this country.... that's all. I am not trying to make a point or anything else. Just trying to make the whole process easier for all of us.

Complain to the 9/11 terrorists who were here on student visas for all the extra wait and paperwork we have to go thru. Just do something to keep busy everyday instead of marking off the calendar each day you are waiting, and time will pass quicker. I think your effort seems rather juvenile, to be perfectly honest. Instead of whining and pining, plan a trip tp go visit your wife and kid.
