This way ahead of my time, but its got me worried:

Today, i informed my building management company that i plan on having my fiancee move in when she arrive. They said thats fine.....but then I remembered reading the AOS and removal guidelines that you have to show a joint lease. Thats when i asked them will i be bale to put her on the lease? And they said that she would have to fill out a rental application anew (even though i have been living there for years and would be the sole rent payer anyways). But I told them that she wouldnt have a job yet, so obviously her "rental app" would be denied. So how else would i put her on paper? Has anyone else run into this?

That's just an example. Think of other ways you can put both your names on things...car insurance, the cable bill, bank account??

You don't need to have a joint lease. There are many other examples of a bona fide marriage to show USCIS at the interview. Utility bills, bank accounts, insurance, even some credit card companies would add her to your account.

Each lease and management company/person is different so do not generalize without knowing the lease they signed. Before we moved my landlord did not add my finace now wife to the lease nor did she require her to fill out any paperwork. When we adjusted status she wrote a letter that stated she saw us together living at that address as a couple when she came to take care of the yard/snow/repairs ect. She mentioned she did not require a new lease and it was silly to start a new one when we were month to month.
