Hello guys I’m here again because we really tired and sick waiting imagine we file our petition last october 7 2008 and got our NOA1 last october 10 2008 but until now we dont heard anything from USCIS for our NOA2.some of my friends they got approved already oct,nov,dec,jan filer there already approved.can u help us how to fix this problem? ur help is a big help on us..God bless on us..

Without knowing the details of your case and personal circumstances, there really is no way to know what might be causing the delay.

after april 10 you can start calling and emailing ,,untill then u have to wait ,,i wish i had better news but becuz the timeline says 63 months on there website no one will help u untill after that ,,ill pray tonight for u ,,,god bless

You will need to wait til you reach 6 months after ur noa1, then you can write your congressman and senator. you are still within a normal waiting time. I know its hard not knowing anything and seeing others get approved n you have nothing. you can call uscis, but i honestly dont think it will do any good (never helped me at least). I waited 7 months for our noa2 (219 day after our noa1). I got it i the mail one day n never had a touch (update) on my case online or an email. So, the answer u dont want to hear is the one you need, to just wait...til at least your 6 month mark..which would be april 10. Sorry for your pain, i know, i remember the feeling, its torture! The USCIS phone number is a 1-800 number and its located on your noa #1 ( Form I-797C Notice of Action ). the phone number Customer Service is :

1(800)375-5283 and yes it is a machine , this is the only number i know of that you can call USCIS on . The only way to talk to a person in customer service you have to follow the prompts (1) Enter your Receipt number using the phone located on your noa#1 (2) enter the prompt to change your address with USCIS (3) It will then ask if you want to speak to someone in customer service , say yes . And you will then be connected to speak to a person .

Hi, you can call the 800 number for USCIS but when you get the machine and it asks if you know your receipt number just say no even if you do have it. Then when it ask if you know where your receipt number is located say no again. This way it will transfer you to a customer service representative. Hope this helps.

I was able to call after a week from filing the case to get information.

We have a October NOA1 date too, and are still waiting

I think there is one other couple on the October CSC filers thread still waiting besides us (from Taiwan I think).

Hopefully soon for us all
