Hi guys

I just got a letter from USCIS saying that my AOS case was transferred to California Service Center "in order to speed up processing".

So do you know is it processed faster when it is transferred to CSC?

I sent my AOS & EAD applications on Feb. 20 and I had an RFE for some tax documents, which I sent to them 4-5 days after and then on March 16 I got an e-mail saying that my AOS status has been resumed...

But what about my EAD?

Both, my AOS and EAD receipt number start with 'MSC', and I can check the AOS receipt online, but cannot check EAD receipt, it is not in the system.

Is this normal?

Thanks

We sent ours in Oct 2008. In the first week of March, no touched from November.

Tried to call them, responded by the machine and it said we were still in the timeframe.

Called thm again after few days, talking with an agent, got an 'unfriendly' response : we are doing the May's applicants now so just call after 6 months from the filing date.

A week later, file was transferred to CSC, followed by EAD and advance parole approval on March 17.

AOS : still pending :dead:

Yeah it happens more often, someone else also filed in October (just like the post above me) and they still haven't heard anything on their EAD and AOS... transferring to CSC usually means an approval without interview but it surely doesn't always mean that it goes faster :/
